  • Task scheduling mechanisms and preemption
  • Management of events, resources, and alarms
  • Practical session: Configuring tasks and scheduling scenarios

Day 2: Advanced OS Topics

  • Hooks, interrupts, and ISR management
  • Time management strategies and counter usage
  • Multi-core considerations within the OS
  • Practical session: Developing a small application using AUTOSAR OS

Day 3: AUTOSAR COM Stack

  • Comprehensive overview of the COM Stack architecture
  • Interaction between PDUR (PDU Router), Interface Layer (IF), and Transceiver Driver
  • Distinctions between Signal and PDU communication
  • Communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet)
  • Practical session: Configuring and simulating signal/PDU communication

Day 4 (Optional/Advanced Use Cases):

  • Integrating OS and COM within a demo ECU project
  • Troubleshooting and debugging communication failures
  • Practical session: Complete lab exercise integrating OS tasks and the COM Stack
