Presentation Skills
- Participants will deliver a pre-prepared presentation on a work-related topic of their choice.
Note: The duration of each delegate presentation will depend on the overall course length and the number of participants. An ideal group size is eight attendees.

Preparing a Presentation
- Key questions for the presenter to consider in advance:
- Why have I been selected?
- Logistics: What, where, when, how, and for how long?
- Understanding how these answers influence the presentation's structure
- Structuring the content:
- Research – gaining deep subject matter expertise
- Organizing the content logically
- Creating and effectively using complementary visual aids
Preparing the Presenter
- The presenter's three fundamental communication tools:
- Verbal – selecting appropriate vocabulary and avoiding slang or jargon
- Vocal – controlling tone and avoiding distracting verbal tics or unnecessary pauses
- Visual – projecting presence through attire, body language, and demeanor
- Rehearsing the presentation and seeking honest feedback from a trusted source
- Strategies for managing nerves
Preparing the Environment
- Understanding how room layouts convey underlying messages to the audience
- Leveraging the physical space to enhance the presentation experience

- Delivery of a second presentation (following adequate preparation time).
