Day 1
Settling In and Preparation

Module 1: My Confidence, My Stage
Understanding the critical role of self-confidence in successful public speaking and personal expression
Activity 1: I am Me
Participants present information about themselves to help build confidence and self-esteem.
Module 2: The Power of Influence and Persuasion – How to Make People Listen
Discussion on the importance of implying and delivering ideas that aim to influence, inspire, and capture attention.
Activity 2: The Blind Guide
Groups of three participants will build a tower of LEGO/building blocks with alternating colors. Two participants are blindfolded, while one serves as the captain without a blindfold. The captain leads the blindfolded members using voice instructions. One blindfolded participant builds, while the other relays instructions.
Synthesis Session
Summary and discussion on the importance of the previous session
Module 3: Public Speaking and Its Structure
Discussion on the structure of public speaking, preparation techniques, and key considerations for delivery.
Activity 3: My Crazy Story
Participant groups create a story from a single source topic.
Module 4: Construction and Delivery of the Speech
Focus on constructing the speech's core ideas, identifying effective delivery strategies, and personal preparation.
Final Synthesis and Assignment Delivery
Participants will be assigned one of several topics for a 5 to 10-minute presentation.
Day 2
Activity 1: Delivery of Identified Topics through Public Presentation
Module 5: Merging Public Speaking and the Internet Superhighway
